Leadership Team

James Larsen

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Larsen provides strategic direction for the company and oversees partner relationships and product development.  Mr. Larsen has spent his entire 20-year career providing telecommunications and IT solutions for mid and large sized businesses facing technology challenges.  Before being named CEO at CMG, Mr. Larsen co-founded iTEMize Technologies where he served as President.  Mr. Larsen was responsible for product strategy, sales, and finance until iTEMize Technologies was sold to CMG in 2012. 

Mr. Larsen also co-founded NetGain Communications, a telecommunications consultancy and agency, where he served as Chief Operating Officer for 10 years until it was sold to ARG in 2010. 

Mr. Larsen earned a B.B.A. degree in Computer Information Systems and Management from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Marshall Hughes

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Hughes is the Chief Operating Officer at CMG. He and his team are responsible for all operational support to clients, agents and internal sales. Processes include the procurement, project management, and post-sale support of CMG Connect services. Mr. Hughes also manages the operations of the CMG Itemize solution set which offers managed services, expense management services, mobile device management, and historical audit and recovery to mid-size and enterprise customers. Since launch, he has been actively involved in the design and system enhancements to both CMG’s agent and customer extranets as well as ongoing customization and integration with client systems. Mr. Hughes has been a member of CMG and its predecessor companies since 1998. 

Chad Fisher

Vice President of Sales

Mr. Fisher joined CMG in April of 2000 and holds responsibility for managing all aspects of CMG's Direct and Channel Sales Departments including sales, recruiting, marketing, and product and service training. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1999, Mr. Fisher joined CMG in a direct sales position and advanced quickly through various sales roles in the organization. He has served as a project manager and sales support for CMG’s largest clients. For the last 2 years Chad has been actively engaged in growing CMG's strategic partnerships, focusing on the continued development of CMG Certified Group Members and VAR Partners as well as Agent Partners. 

Robert Celona

Director, Cloud Services

Mr. Celona joined CMG in 1999 and is responsible for the PBX division of the company. He graduated from University of Richmond in 1991 and received an MBA in General Management from Richmond University in London in 1998. Prior to joining CMG, Mr. Celona worked with TIE Communications in London – a PBX manufacturer – for over six years in sales, project management and operations management. Mr. Celona focuses on CMG's Telcentrex offerings including cloud-based PBX services, managed data networks, integrated communications, and conferencing services.        

Sylvia Hernandez

Manager, Itemize Services

Ms. Hernandez manages the Itemize Telecom Expense Management Services at CMG. She and her team are responsible for managing all client's telecom expenses including invoice processing, cost allocation, inventory management, AP Optimization and dispute tracking through the Itemize software platform. From implementation to managed services, Sylvia and her team assist clients in managing the complexity of telecom billing, discovering errors and savings opportunities, implementing solutions, and reporting on successful reductions in monthly spending. 

After attaining a degree in International Relations and a Masters degree in Project Management, Sylvia co-founded and managed a successful PBX distributor for nearly 10 years. During this time, she obtained Cisco CCNA Certification while expending her telecom knowledge with an emphasis on expense management. Sylvia joined CMG in 2011.

 

Sjabrin Clercx

Manager, Connect Services

Mr. Clercx joined CMG in May of 2008. As the Manager of Connect Services he assures the effectiveness of the CMG Connect team. Their responsibilities include procurement, savings assessments, and post-sale support for clients and partners. In addition Mr. Clercx assists in product development and training, streamlining processes and complex telecom solution design and implementation. The Connect team ensures end-user customers have the solution that best fits their needs. Mr. Clercx received his bachelor's degree in Integrated Communication Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
