Peter F. Lauer,
Founder, Managing Partner
Director, Freight & Logistics Group

Mr. Lauer is Co-Founder and a Managing Partner of the Cost Management Group. Prior to CMG Peter spent 15 years working for the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) and its predecessor company the Advisory Board Company. CEB is the leading global best practices research firm, based in Arlington, VA, which went public in 1999 (EXBD: NASDAQ). It grew from a small private firm when he joined, to a $500M global organization with 2,800 employees. His areas of expertise are in sales, marketing, product and business development, as well as corporate development, having worked with over 1,000 companies and their senior executives and board members within Finance, IT, Operations, HR, Sales, Marketing and R&D and Audit Committees, over the span of his Corporate Executive Board career.

Prior to CEB, Peter spent 5 years with Corning Incorporated in a variety of roles including product development, corporate development, marketing, and business restructuring around the globe. Prior to Corning, Peter worked for General Electric for 4 years, and is a graduate of their Technical Marketing Program (TMP), where he held roles in applications and manufacturing engineering, as well as technical sales focused on factory automation and robotics.

Peter holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh where he was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Society and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Peter has served on the Board of 2 different companies, and currently serves on the Board of the American Platform Tennis Association and is Region VII President, and on the Board of Cherokee Town and Country Club where he is Secretary.

Peter lives with his wife, an Atlanta native and fellow HBS graduate, and their three children in Atlanta. He is an active racquet sport player and founder of the Peachtree Paddle League.

Remington Reynolds,
Founder, Managing Director
Director, Energy Solutions Group

Mr. Reynolds is Co-Founder and a Managing Director of the Cost Management Group. He is responsible for the overall vision and strategic leadership of the Company. Prior to founding PartnerTEL in 1996, Mr. Reynolds attended the University of Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He also holds an Executive MBA with a concentration in accounting and finance. Mr. Reynolds is originally from Rye, N.Y., is an avid tennis, squash, platform tennis player, musician and climber, and resides in Dunwoody, GA with his wife Casey and four children, Remy, Riley, Ansley and Spencer.

Steve Gareleck
Founder, Managing Director
Director, Telecom and IT Solutions Groups

Mr. Gareleck is Co-Founder and a Managing Director of the Cost Management Group. He has over 13 years of experience in the IT and Telecommunications space serving various roles including COO, President, CEO and Chairman of PartnerTEL. During this time, Mr. Gareleck participated in various mergers and acquisitions, as well as raising capital, and establishing various credit facilities with several major banks.

Prior to PartnerTEL, Mr. Gareleck worked in corporate finance in New York. Steve holds a B.A. in Economics and a Degree in Management Studies from the University of Rochester, as well as a Master in Finance and a Master in Business Administration from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Management at the University of Rochester.

Mr. Gareleck and his wife reside in Atlanta, where he is an avid tennis player, squash player, platform tennis player, and skier.

Charles McCoy
Director, Financial Solutions Group

Charles has over 30 years of diverse business experience, including 27 years with the Coca-Cola Company in a variety of leadership roles, primarily in finance & accounting, supply chain management, and non-carbonated beverages operations. 

He served as V.P. of Business Operations for Coca-Cola North America’s (CCNA) Non-Carbonated Beverages Group, as well as leading CCNA’s revenue management and mergers and acquisitions activities.  Additionally he led supply chain management for CCNA, producing non-carbonated beverages (e.g., PowerAde, Dasani and other brands) and has extensive experience in capital management, product development, commercialization, productivity and cost savings initiatives.  He also served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and Chairman for the International Bottled Water Association, a trade association of over 400 member companies.

Earlier in his career at Coca-Cola Charles held key financial leadership roles: as an Assistant Controller responsible for general ledger, budgeting, financial reporting, etc for Coca-Cola USA,  V.P. of Finance and Administration and CFO for the Canadian Division in Toronto, and Financial Services Manager for the Latin America, Europe and Africa Groups.

Prior to Coca-Cola Charles was a CPA at Price Waterhouse.  He has a B.A. in Economics from The University of Virginia, an MBA in Finance and Masters in Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University. 

Charles and his wife Becca McCoy reside in Atlanta, have two children, and enjoy golf and a variety of outdoor sporting activities.

Daveenia Deaver
Director, HR Solutions Group

Daveenia Deaver is Director of HR Solutions Group , which supports clients on a nationwide basis. Daveenia held various management positions, spending a large amount of her career building technical staffing divisions, and sales teams within the staffing industry. Her positions included; President of Sales, for a multi-million dollar telecommunications company, and various upper management roles supporting mid-sized staffing firms. Daveenia has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Administrative Management from Mount Mercy College, and plans to obtain her MBA in International Business, when her youngest son reaches middle school.

Daveenia moved to Atlanta four years ago and is passionate about helping children through various organizations, supporting organizations such as Toys for Tots, Junior Achievement and Make a Wish Foundation. When she is not mentoring children, and other young future business owners; she enjoys adventure travel and spending time with her husband, and three sons, which reside in East Cobb.
